This project was completed in 2011 in Washington City, Utah. The project name is Sullivan Park. Sunroc Construction subcontracted with us to complete the curb and gutter, sidewalks, walkways, waterways, overflows, and ADA ramps.
This project was built on the campus of Southern Utah University under the director of Carter Enterprises as General Contractor. The DFCM was the project administrator. Ben Johnson was the representative from SUU. The retaining walls had a form liner pattern to give a look of rough cut lumber. They were also colored and had fibermesh installed at a rate of 3lbs per cubic yard. Tyler Allred with Allred and Allred helped with the retaining wall construction. The walls heights varied from 4' to 12'. With over 100 steps on the project and ADA compliant ramps linking the two main walkways, it was a challenge to design and build. Some modifications had to be made during construction to make everything fit. Joel Andrus represented Bowen & Collins as the Design Engineers.
Interstate Rock was the General Contractor on this project. This project widened the bottle neck through Washington City into four total lanes. We did the curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveway's, median curbs, ADA ramps, and stamped median filler.
This project is located northeast of Milford, UT. It is a patented design by Veizades Associates out of San Francisco to control the pressure released when the plant shuts down. Dailey Builders constructed the walls and floor and we did the Base slab and installation of baffles.
M.S. poured the footings and flatwork and Allred and Allred setup the walls. This was not the typical job as it was for the main controls of a substation. Many wall penetrations and embeds were installed to facilitate all the wiring.
